Absolutely not! Even though Chris has won black belt championships around the world, his true passion is bringing the art to the public for their well-being. You do get to train with him everyday though and see the difference in a world champion and see how he can help you reach your goals.

Chris and Justin are great instructors. The upper belts, especially Duane and Ernie, helped me learn early on. This is a great environment to learn jiu jitsu and everyone is cool. Justin does an incredible job mentoring the kids and teaching them. It's amazing to see the kids excel at jiu jitsu and gain confidence in themselves.
Being relatively new to the area and deciding to start training again at 47 yo made me more than little nervous. That being said, I also had a couple guys from church who kept talking highly of Chris. One Sunday I finally decided to introduce myself. After talking a while, he invited me to his school. I have to say that Chris and Justin are great. They are very respectful and willing to take the time to help you learn and to get better. It doesn’t matter if you are young, old, in shape, or out of shape, if you are looking for a place to train, this is the place.
